Get the COVID-19 test at the Warsaw/Modlin airport - quickly and right before departure

Good news for those traveling by plane from the Warsaw/Modlin airport: starting 19 March, diagnostic tests for COVID-19 will be available directly at the airport. The new diagnostic site of the Damian Medical Center will be open 24 hours a day, offering travellers two types of tests - antigen and RT-PCR, the with results available in Polish and English.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of our lives, including air travel. If we intend to use this form of transport, in most cases we must have up-to-date coronavirus test results. This applies to both business trips and the upcoming Easter and May holidays, as well as summer holidays.

Therefore, with all travellers in mind, a COVID-19 Testing Site was launched at the Warsaw/Modlin Airport - one of the most popular Polish airports.

We decided to partner with the Warsaw/Modlin airport due to the growing demand of patients for quick access to the test just before departure. Many people still travel, either for professional, personal or recreational purposes, which requires a current negative test. In order to spare passengers the stress of having to get the test and the certificate proving they’ve tested negative, we have set up a testing site at the airport where they can quickly and conveniently undergo the coronavirus test. It is a solution that will save time, which we don’t always have before traveling.

Thanks to our cooperation with Damian Medical Center, our passengers can get COVID-19 tests right before departure at the airport.

The testing site is located in the parking lot in front of the airport terminal. Passengers traveling from Warsaw/Modlin Airport can get two types of tests there: antigen and RT-PCR (depending on the requirements of the destination).

In the case of the antigen test, the results take approximately 15 minutes. However, if passengers need to take the RT-PCR test, they must arrive earlier as results take at least 6 hours. There is no need to sign up for the test.

The cost of the rapid antigen test is PLN 170, while the RT-PCR test costs PLN 450. Payment for the service can only be made by card. The site will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Not just Warsaw/Modlin Airport

This is yet another testing site for COVID-19 offered by Damian Medical Center, this time in cooperation with the local Warsaw airport. In October 2020, laboratories were launched in eight cities where you can undergo testing without a referral. Special diagnostic tents were erected in Łódź, Lublin, Mysłowice, Poznań, Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków and Gdańsk. An additional site opened in Szczecin in December.
